Do this
Paste 2-3 real pieces you like. Ask for a 4th.
The prompt (copy this)
Here are 3 pieces that sound right:
---
[paste example 1]
---
[paste example 2]
---
[paste example 3]
---
Write 5 new ones in the same voice about [topic].
Even better: good + bad
Good (this is my voice):
[paste]
Bad (avoid this):
[paste a generic or AI-ish draft]
Now write 5 that lean toward the first, away from the second.
Works for anything
- Proposals: one that closed + one that didn't → ask for a third.
- Emails: 3 of your best replies → ask for the next one.
- Slides: outline of a deck that worked → new deck in the same shape.
- Reports: one format you like → fit new data into it.
Don't do this
- "Write like Gary Vee." → caricature, not match.
- "Punchy and confident." → adjectives, not examples.
- "Like the tone on Apple's website." → Claude can't browse. Paste the copy.
Rule
Stop describing. Start showing. One pasted example beats a thousand adjectives.
